Back to old good times: build for fun and make a useful solution. Connect! Connect your knowledge, team, startup opportunities and different technologies to build a useful solution for a real-world problem. Developers, designers, researchers, entrepreneurs and any tech enthusiasts are welcome.

This time we participate in [MAKE-A-TONE: Smart Device for Seoul Bus].  We build our idea and share this with other 30 people

Suggest and Build your idea


Suggest and build a Smart Device for Seoul Bus by your idea and technologies

Who: developers, designers, researchers, entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts
* you must be multinational team
* Maximum 30 participants (Hack@Seoul / Make-A-Tone: half/half)

Build useful projects through your unique knowledge and our resources.
Whether you build for fun and experiments or for making a startup or for both, your efforts will be rewarded.

We will provide a basic infrastructure, fun environment and requested (reasonable) devices which you need to build your idea.

+ Smart Device for Seoul Bus

+ Device support up to 500,000 KRW to all teams
* This time we are going to have a SCREENING through the project description in the application. since we don’t have enough space.
** Once you pass the Screening, We will ask you to send your device list(in detail) up to 500,000 won. we will prepare them for your team. (we can’t prepare extra device during the event)
+ The devices MUST be IN KOREA. if not, they won’t be delivered on time

Usability: create useful projects which will help to solve real problems for their users.
Creativity: be creative and utilize all your unique knowledge and skills.
Collaboration: work with other teams to make a consistent solution and you will get additional points.

+ a judging of tech professionals;

Award :
+ 1st place: 1M won of money prize and a certificate granted by the Mayor of Seoul
+ 2nd place: 0.5M won (* 2 teams) of money prize

*25 Startup VISA points(OASIS-6, prerequisite point)
